My approach to work is to strive to make a difference. When businesses are run to be inclusive of those with a disability, we all benefit. This is what I want to inspire others to engage with. Differences can be made through having a broader perspective when it comes to communicating with and understanding the diverse nature of the society in which we live and work. My strapline of ‘inspire, engage and empower’ is based on a wish to inspire positive change in corporate approach to often disenfranchised groups, encourage engagement with a potential new client base and empower collective working.
Enthusiasm and energy, that’s what I bring to all aspects of my life. I have worked very hard to achieve what I have. There’s still more I want to do. I learn something new everyday. I’m a Mum to 2 fantastic teenagers, have an extremely supportive partner, who has 2 younger girls, home life is busy and rewarding. I am a school Governor which, in the current climate, is challenging and at the same time, rewarding. I sing in a choir, which is great fun and has given me the opportunity to re-energise my musical background. I do have a tendancy to get a little bit excited about things sometimes, my girls take great pleasure in bringing me back down to earth!
